Macbeth

September 7-9, 14-16, 2023
Curtain at 7:00 PM
Memorial Park Stage

Join us this September for our third annual Shakespeare in the Park as we present a tale of murder and madness. Directed by K Michael Moore, this gory and fantastical tale ultimately shines a bright light on our darker natures. To what lengths would you go to achieve your desires? And once realized, what are the consequences of unchecked ambition? Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble…

This year, Shakespeare in the Park invites you to bring your own picnic to enjoy before (and during) the show. We’ll provide refreshments and request that you not bring in any outside beverages, other than water. Reduced price tickets are available for the Thursday night performances.

We’re also welcoming back Cheesecakes by Alissa and the White Tree Bakery who will be offering their delicious desserts for purchase at the show. Cheesecakes by Alissa will be there for the first weekend of performances: September 7, 8, and 9. The White Tree Bakery will be there for the second weekend of performances: September 14, 15, and 16.

Our outdoor stage is located in historic Memorial Park. Parking is available on the surrounding streets and in the parking lots of the nearby Presbyterian and Methodist churches.

Special thanks to the Prenzie Players for arming us to the teeth with all the swords and knives we needed…
