Cast announced for The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

Rehearsals have begun for the cast and crew of MVLCT’s winter production, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.  Based on the children’s book by Kate diCamillo, this stage adaptation by Dwayne Hartford allows an ensemble of actors to tell the story of Edward, a beautifully made toy rabbit with a trunkful of different outfits but no heart.  Edward’s adventures and the characters he meets make for an engaging folktale appropriate for all ages.  The storytellers are Kim Benesh, Mary Blacharski, Emma Castiblanco, Bill Croghan, Carley Hutson, Braden JP Rood, and Amy White.  Grant Freeman is directing, assisted by stage  …

Ordinary Days Cast Announced!

The cast has been chosen and rehearsals will soon begin for Ordinary Days, Mount Vernon Lisbon Community Theatre’s first live show in over a year!

Amber Hansen, Kami Zbanek Hill, Nick Rudzianski, and Julie Thomas will play the roles of four New York City residents whose paths cross in significant ways as they go about their daily lives. 

Adam Gwon wrote the book and lyrics for the show, which was first produced off Broadway in 2008.  John Zbanek Hill is directing with Leslie Hyland as music director.
